on vertical face of shaded sandstone ledge. included P. lepidophora as a possibility, since there is a collection of that from this site, and the description of the location matches exactly where this one was observed, although this does appear phyllidiate and not isidiate.

Peltigera praetextata that actually has the phyllidia that supposedly defines the species. :)
