Each MO Observation should have a Location (other than “Earth”) in the “Where” field, even if you enter the exact Latitude and Longitude (both of which are optional). A named Location adds scientific value to your Observation, helps other users, and enables some of MO’s search functionality.
To add a named Location:
- click Edit Observation,
- then, in the Where field, enter a named location.
You can use a named Location which does not reveal the exact spot where you observed the mushroom.
