Seen on a hardwood stick next to a river.

A cheilocystidium measured 40 × 13 and the pleurocystidia were larger, around 70 × 15. Pileipellis an irregular epithelium. Spores brown, smooth, inamyloid, broadly ellipsoid, without germ pore, 7 – 9 × 5.5 – 7 micrometers.
