Observation 4110: Cortinarius caperatus (Pers.) Fr.

When: 2007-09-08

Collection location: Diamond and Crater Lake, Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Douglas Smith (douglas)

No specimen available

Notes:
I put these down as Rozites caperata, but the site here tells me the better name for them is C. caperatus. Ok then, I will assume you know better than I.

The clear detail on these is the partial veil half-way down the stipe.
