Observation 416724: Inocybaceae Jülich

Habitat: Two individuals growing among moss and leaf litter on the ground in a forest of mixed hardwoods and plentiful Eastern Hemlocks.
For the larger specimen: the cap is ~ 3 cm cap diameter; brown in the center, tan at the margin; densely covered with “scales”; the stalk is ~ 5 cm length, 0.5 cm diameter thinning slightly toward base; greenish near cap, darker at base; shaggy surface.
For the smaller specimen: the coloration, etc. is very similar, but the under-surface may show a veil remnant?
Both individuals were left undisturbed, so no information on gills vs. pores or on spores.
