Specimen available

Ok, Dr. Rod Tulloss has told me that this will be published at some point here as Amanita pruittii. These have been found in a grassy area, between redwood trees.

These here I have dried, and they will be put in the Thiers’ herbarium at SFSU, and then sent to Rod for study, to be part of the species discription, once it get published.

I know exactly where I found these, it was in irrigated grass under redwood trees. No standing water, no marshy area. I looked in this same place at the same time of year, daily, for years after I found these. They never came back, it was just a one time thing.

low-lying land? any standing water?
