Hubachek Wilderness Research Center (Ely, MN)

- Ecology: Found near edge of trail among pines. Small cluster of individuals. mixed woods (conifer dominated).
- Cap: 20-60mm width. Light yellow with scales that are dark near margin. KOH jet black on cap. Slightly off center connection on some to cap.
- Pores: Originally yellow becoming dark brown. Angular/large.
- Stem: Curled at base. Bruising dark (originally yellow). 40mm length x 4mm width.
- Spore print: Pending.
