my first find. was looking into going mushroom hunting soon and found some near a restaurant I went to this morning. getting started identifying

it’s been rainy the last several days. it was in a spot that gets much sun though. no cover. it’s about 4.5 inches tall. there were a few smaller mushrooms around it that looked like the same species

microscope should be arriving today. doing research into microscopes I somehow was led to mushroom hunting. guess it goes hand in hand?

what’s etiquette here? if I know what the mushroom is in the future, should I not bother posting a pic of it on mushroom observer?

any other etiquette?
