Notes:
Found poking out of the edge of a lawn, near Betula populifolia (Gray birch).

Pileus: moist, center sunken, margin slightly inrolled. 7.5 cm across.

Gills: pale tan, at first, bruising dark reddish brown and, finally, turning warm brown. Decurrent, turning vein-like on stipe, some forking.

Stipe: curved, wider at apex, appears to have darkened where touched. 11mm wide at apex.

7 cm total height.

Spores: cinnamon brown.
