The white form is the “freshest” and about 2cm across. If you touch it the round shapes disintegrate and become a puddle of, well, slime. As it ages it turns mauve then brown then finally becomes nearly black, at which point it appears to be dry spores that dust your fingers when touched. Found on a log that’s been home to a number of nifty mushrooms and slimes over the past two years.
