At least 8 of these were growing here and there along a path through the woods in a largely-unexplored region.
There are now six known G. esculenta patches in those woods: Zone 12 (two seen so far this year), Zone 18 and nearby into Zone 21, Zone 49 (one seen so far this year) and nearby, Zone 45 far from trails, and now the two patches found today in the branch of the woods south of Hwy. 17.
