Meottomyces dissimulans from Wildcat Canyon, photographed last night with three types of light. I used an Acebeam H30 LED, Acebeam PT40, which has high color rendering index LED’s which are supposed to give much more accurate colors. The UV photo is with a Convoy C8 365 nanometer ultraviolet light.

It looks like the high CRI LED’s really do give much better results when photographing mushrooms at night.
