pure stand of live oak? or mixed w/conifers?

if a pure stand, then indeed eastwoodiae is more likely, although we are not seeing a typical squat, more bulbous stipe shape for eastwoodiae here (well actually this is missing its stipe altogether) or in the linked-to photo.
