I likely won’t be able to go back to check for these details but will pay attention for them the next time I see a similar specimen.

or very fine pubescence near the point of attachment to the wood? Also, I assume the spore color is brown. Looks like a few caps have a brown deposit on them. Maybe compare with Crepidotus occidentalis, although micro is generally needed to ID Creps to species.
