Found in sandy soil near pines. Somewhat tan pore surface, viscid cap, sterile margin (I think). Prominent resinous dots near the apex of the stalk. No parts of the mushroom stain upon exposure to air or contact. Cap looks like it may have had hairs/scales, but felt smooth. Tan-brown cap. Remnants of veil visible, flash not particularly white. Thinking S. hirtellus based off these characteristics, using Mushrooms of the Gul Coast States as my guide, but don’t know anything about the subspecies of S. hirtellus.
