I was sorting through the boleltes and relatives for DNA and just as I was plucking a piece of the gill it just didn’t seem yellow enough. I’m getting several students working on the Yosemite collection this summer so maybe by the fall we’ll have them all inventoried! Wish us luck!

We’re working through the YNP samples and this one didn’t seem yellow enough. Spores are brown and not boletoid. Perhaps a Pholiota.
