any more spore details other than “round?” size, fer instance? is round a unique character in Sierra black cups?

also, it was curious how these round spores collapsed when the fruit body was dried, forming a three dimensional cup, much like a deflated rubber ball with one side pushed in. Was this due to the drying process? They look almost like giant red blood cells! Details can be seen in posted micrograph.
