Observation 468639: Tylopilus P. Karst.

Boletus pallidus? Tylopilus intermedius? Found in a forest that was dominated by American Beech and Virginia Pine with lots of others like oak species, Tulip Poplar etc. I have not yet been able to obtain a spore print. Pores did not bruise grayish blue. Flesh did not bruise at all.
