Found the mushrooms on a dead tree lying on the forest floor, in a mixed wood forest. They were in clusters of 4. Date found :Oct. 6, 2021. I took the spore print: White.

I took the images at home so I do not have the images at the location where I picked them.

Picture mushroom app points to Elm oyster mushroom. On the hand, many mushroom sites indicate that elm oyster grows on live trees, which is not the case with this mushroom.
I also check mycoquebec site, there seems to be two very similar elm mushrooms, Hypsizygus tessulatus and Hypsizygus ulmarius. According to this site they can be found both on living and death trees.

So it seems there are some conflicting info. about Elm oyster.
