After additional reviews and comparisons I was unable to determine an alternate identification beyond Tylopilus alboater. My appearance of confidence is actually a secret strategy which may provoke the more experienced who have seen an aged, dehydrated T. alboater to comment or correct my identification. Thanks for any feedback and corrections. Mark Prosser

Thanks Hamilton

I appreciate your identification of this to Tylopilus. When I’ve tried to narrow this to which specie of Tylopilus, my best guess is an aged T. alboater but suspect that it must remain a guess. Thanks again, Mark Prosser
