Location: Near Seaview, WA. Mixed coastal Pine/Spruce Forest. Growing solitary or in scattered clumps.
Substrate: Growing out of duff.
Cap: 8-19cm in diameter. Round, broadly convex, plane, and uplifted caps seen. Bright rad to orange in color. Viscid. Universal veil warts. Sulcate margin.
Gills: Close. Free. White.
Stipe: 8-13cm long; 2-4cm thick. Straight. The bulb is egg shaped. Upper stipe is white. The lower stipe is cream colored. Solid.
Partial Veil: While hanging skirt.
Volva: Whitish scaly rings on the bottom of stipe.
Flesh: Firm. White.
Odor: None.
Taste: Mild.
