It’s good to back Herbert.

I’m a full time mushroom hunter again for a few days. I can say that the odor of this mushroom was not overwhelming. I think the strength of mushroom odors varies with growing conditions.

What did it smell like?

The bulb of this mushroom did not extend more than an inch or two into the ground, and it does not have the concentric rings at the bottom, so it’s probably not A. magniradix.
