The bulbous base is apparently typical for iniixus but NOT always present. See the Bessettes Bolete Book (second B. innixus photo) and other obsies here on MO.

Chopping off the major identification FEATURES…..

I was able to piece together the ID through chemicals. KOH on cap brwn/red, on flesh orange. The deciding factor was green with ammonia on cap. Since trying to ID i found that the major ID for this mushroom is the base which is supposed to be bulbous and in clusters, though mine were neither. Also the basal mycelium should be yellow unlike auriporus that is white.
