These were growing from a long dead and very rotten stump. It was in an area of pine plantation, but I’m guessing the stump is not pine. I don’t recall seeing these associated with pine.

This is a fairly common mushroom around here. I did not get a shot of the gills.

Were these in the ground?

Were these found in the ground, or found on wood? The photo here has them on wood, but I’m not sure that is where they were found. Plus do you have a photo of the gills (if there are gills…)?
