The mushroom E. abortivum…

as opposed to the aborted forms which are actually deformed Armillaria fruit bodies, starts out with notched/attached gills. As the mushroom matures/expands the gills often stretch down the stipe.

So I’m wondering if this may actually not be a mixed collection. It may be E. abortivum at different stages.

…look like unaborted Entoloma arbortivum to me. Bottom pics look like Clitopilus.
