Observation 50756: Physcia clementei (Sm.) Lynge

When: 2010-08-10

Collection location: Parque de Monsanto, Lisboa, Portugal [Click for map]

Who: zaca

No specimen available

The lack of apothecia makes identification more difficult. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the test to the medulla that would allow to separate the species P. stellaris and P. aipolia. Another hypotheses would be P. clementei and even P. tribacioides.
What are the cords visible over the lichen? Frullania sp.?

… in the course of observations MO53843 and MO65329, I think that this specimen, that was the first in the series to be posted here, can have a more complete name: Physcia clementei.
