Collection location: Fraser Experimental Forest, Grand Co., Colorado, USA [Click for map]
These were growing low into the ground under mixed conifers at about 9200 ft.
The caps were up to 7.2 cm across, dry, fairly even and smooth.
The stems were off center and basically a shade of tan.
The cap flesh was also tannish.
The spore print was weak but appeared to be brownish with a hint if purple.
Spores were roundish with large bumps (tuberculate?). They were ~ 5.1 X 4.3 microns.
