merge the two descriptions… it can stain blue but doesn’t always.

B.R.B bolete book description of B. viscidocorrugis…

..says staining bright blue in the base or erratically throughout the stipe…

That as well as the rest of the description fits this observation pretty decently, but I’m reading B. longicurvipes isn’t supposed to blue.

Now the other obs I made, 51685, the context of the stipe flesh is white, with no blue staining. Which brings me to where I am now, confused.

Is B. viscidocorrugis really the same mushroom as B. longicurvipes? Which description is right?
