Notes:
First time find in exclusive red pine stand. This specimen was a little dehydrated, but still shows the tapering stalk with orange near the base, and orange flesh. Ammonia purple on cap.

Recognized by sight: Can look macroscopically identical to C. vinicolor and C. rutilus (which doesn’t appear to occur in the US).
