Observation 52032: Amanita sect. Vaginatae sensu Zhu L. Yang

When: 2010-09-05

Collection location: Rickett’s Glen SP, Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dave W (Dave W)

Specimen available

Notes:
Stipe base was buried about two inches deep, and most of the volval sac was lost when the mushroom was dug up. This seems a bit unusual for amerifulva. Cap color a bit dark for amerifulva.
