No specimen available

Large (over 10cm), brown cap, yellow pores and stipe, black scabers on stipe. Appears to be Leccinum but not L. glabripes (obvious black scabers are absent in that species).

Found in Zone 47 near the boundary with Zone 48. Could be associated with maple, birch, aspen, pine, or Balsam fir.
