I wanted to show the rather unique flat base of the cap. At this stage the veil was intact at the base of the cap
I wanted to show the shape of the stipe—tapering toward the base. I did trim this one or the very bottom would have been rounded a bit

None of the specimens pictured are mature enough to drop spores

I think you may be correct Christian. Im awaiting a spore print still but all seems to point reasonably toward Chlorophyllum.

Notice the slight orange staining of the cross-section – typical for some members of the genus.

This is not Macrolepiota —-The stipe alone excludes it forget the rest
