Observation 544: Agaricus fuscovelatus Kerrigan
When: 1992-09-15
Collection location: Menlo Park, San Mateo Co., California, USA [Click for map]
No specimen available
Notes:
The Stanford Campus is a great place to look for Agaricus species. These came from an area beside an atheletic field that would commonly get A. bernardii and A. arvensis as well.

Kerrigan sez ‘Aye’. Note the dark velar fragments on the pileus margin. Otherwise, not really typical-looking material.
