Recognized by sight: This was a huge mass of jelly sitting several places on a grape vine that was downed. Wondering if its from sap, resin.. or fungal. It had no odor, or taste. (yes i tasted this!) It was a clear to amber color, and appeared after 5 inches of two day rain which may result in its size. Anybody seen this goo?

That is a sap from the vine. I have several old grape vines and they exhibit the same thing. it seems to exuded from old branches and wounds but I believe it to be sap.

…something we seen floating around the woods in February.

Anyway I think that might be some sap you have there. Not totally sure though.
