Observation 54923: Hypsizygus ulmarius (Bull.) Redhead

When: 2010-10-05

Collection location: Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
Found in moist hardwood woods (absolutely zero conifers) fairly close to the Ottawa River, northwest of downtown Pembroke.

There were several of these growing on several close-together trees in one small area. Largest 6-7cm wide. All parts look white, else I’d have suggested Pluteus due to the free gills.
