Recognized by sight: Im going by the ring on this one, and white rhizomorphs at the base of the stem. This was growing in a flower pot of basil. Only about 2 1/2 inches.

I’d say it’s a scrawny wine cap. I’ve been wrong numerous times before though :(

never heard of that genus. Could this stropharia be a small rugoso… or something different with the stem being so fragile? Even young specimens develop a thicker stipe than this in my experience. The ring sure…
