Is only associated with Eastern White Pine as far as I know. It thrives under planted white pine in lawn areas.

I have read that it grows only under Eastern White Pine, and that Suillus sibricus grows under other 5-needle pine, west of the Rockies. Anyone have any info or expertise to help end my confusion?
