Observation 58258: Tricholoma caligatum (Viv.) Ricken

When: 2010-10-03

Collection location: Bourne Farm, Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA [Click for map]

Who: Nathan Wilson (nathan)

No specimen available

I understand that someone is currently working on this group in the eastern US, so this will probably eventually get a new better name. I think the staining reaction will probably be distinctive.

The same large cap, but half an hour later showing the gray staining.
