Found in scattered group of six, growing from soil, in mixed, predominantly hardwood, forest.

Pileus:
1.6-2.9cm broad, convex with depressed center, smooth, brownish-orange
Flesh is thin and white

Lamellae:
Adnate, close to subdistant, creamy

Stipe:
7.5-8cm long, .3-.5cm thick, smooth, filamentous, equal, hollow, some twisting, red and creamy tones fading at base to white, white base faintly bruising purple.
