Somehow this one escaped the knife.
I would have thought this macroscopic feature would make this a very obvious species. I read several Bolete descriptions that specifically mention sugar pine, but none of the (few) images really looked like mine. The depth of the pore surface and the width of the pores also seem unique to me.
