This was an old photo that I didn’t record any data from. I knew it was unlikely to be ID’d, but still worth observing.

Try Laccaria?

It would be good to get a photo of the whole mushroom, to see gill attachment, and the base. Dig one up carefully, and turn it over, so people can see the base and gill attachment, along with the qualities of the cap.

If you don’t know the genus of the mushroom in question, it is also good to get a spore print, to add info on the color of the spores.

but with those gills it reminds more of Entoloma.
