Paragyrodon sphaerosporus

Still in doubt

I wanted to call it that, because most of the macro features seem to match. But I have 100% Paragyrodon sphaerosporus (identified by Tom Volk) growing nearby in the woods. They’re much bigger and have a pileus of much lighter color. The mushrooms I have here have a cap of 3 – 3.5 inches across and never grew bigger, and have never opened the way Paragyrodon opens up when old, retaining convex cap instead.
