Recognized by sight: Looks like it had a viscid cap – and brown girdles below the “ring zone” give me the impression of a Pholiota. If I had to choose one, it would be Pholiota aurivella, but that is a difficult cluster of species..

Well this looks a little old but reminds me of a gymnopilus… was it growing out of wood? Also any spore powder on the stipe would be bright orange if it were in this genus..
