These were growing everywhere near Evergreen huckleberry on this trip. Very large, yellow pore surface under cap, brown to purplish cap(lots of veins and color variations) Similar to rex veris but with a thinner stalk.

Some caps were dinner plate size!

Recognized by sight: “Gills” was accidentally written under my earlier notes… instead of pores. Obviously Boletes do not have gills- apologies for that…
