Observation 63783: Inocybe sensu lato (Site ID) (Inocybaceae)

When: 2011-02-21

Collection location: Putah Creek Rd., Southwest of Winters, California, USA [Click for map]

Who: Byrain

Specimen available

Notes:
Growing in dirt mixed with wood debris and gravel. Growing near oak and eucalyptus. The specimens contain an unpleasant and indiscreet scent. Removing the stem for a spore print showed a reddish coloring which I am not sure if it was already like that, or staining. The print was brown.
