Doubt about C.unicolor

While consistency of the mushroom is similar to C.unicolor, and the latter can display slight variety in coloration, the dramatic underside and brighter colors would bring this mushroom closer to things like Daedalia or Daedaleopsis or saomething in that range.

This polypore was very tough (although it could be bent slightly), pretty thin and small in size (not more than 2-3 inches in diameter).
