Observation 65948: Usnea intermedia (A. Massal.) Jatta

Common on doug fir trunks especially in northern ravine. Bushy, papillose, not constricted, dark base, few fibrils on back of apothecia, not red, medulla very lax.

(Note: Brodo et al. 2001 calls this U. arizonica.)
