Observation 65951: Usnea parvula Motyka

Much less common on doug fir trunks especially in northern ravine. Bushy, not papillose, not constricted, ~not dark base, dense fibrils on back of apothecia, not red, medulla very dense subcortically (but normal near the axis, two layers clearly discernable at 30x).

(Note that Brodo et al. 2001 calls this U. cirrosa.)
