The color and width to length proportions of the Sporotheca in the images I am seeing looks in line with the descriptions and images I have found online. I could be wrong I never said my identification is “I’d call it that” only “could be” to “Promising”. I’m trying to give people a better Idea of what the may have found.

God4Free - We have about a dozen species of Stemonitis in North America. Why do you think so many of the posts on MO are S. fusca? In the general keys, it takes a microscope to name them.
