Habitat:
Growing from dead wood (POSSIBLY Juniperus virginiana…), in mixed (predominantly hardwood) forest, beside an area that was flooded by beavers.

Pileus:
3.6-12cm broad, Convex, White with red-brown radially appressed fibers, dry

Lamellae:
Descending, Close, White, rough edges

Stipe:
4-5cm long, .7-2.2cm wide, equal, solid, scaly
